natural glow
This self tanner is really east to apply, and turns your skin an even, natural bronze. It really looks like you just got a little sun the day before. I’ve used on my face as well with no problems. It smells a little like coconut–way more like sunscreen than the nasty smell of self tanner. My only two complaints are that is is very pricey, and that you have to wear gloves when you apply it. It must be very fast acting, because even when I wash my hands right away, I end up with the tell-tale orange palm syndrome.

WAY TOO DARK 
I AM SOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo dissapointed…i waited forver for this product and when it finally got here i was shocked at how dark it was - i picked the lightest color possible!!! color chart not accurate at all!!!
professional result on your own
I’m on my 4th can, and I plan on purchasing another one as soon as I finish typing this.
I don’t have perfect skin, but this make up, by far, makes my skin look the most flawless, whereas other make up had the danger of accentuating my problem areas on my skin simply because I don’t have the professional artistry to conceal them properly.
With this spray, it’s pretty much fool-proof in achieving the perfect look. Everytime I wear this, I get compliments, whereas when I wear the liquid/cream foundation, I’m warned that I look tired, or that my jawline is not blended well enough! This spray goes on evenly, it’s light weight and does not feel like I’m wearing a foundation (just looks like you have good skin, by minimizing pores and covering up blotchy skin).
The first can I got, I hadn’t mastered the air spray technique yet, so I went through it quickly, and didn’t get a good result (unevenly sprayed). That was my fault in technical artistry - lol. Now, I enjoy the fact that it takes 3 second vs 3 minutes to do my foundation. It’s especially great when I get a short call to step outside, and I don’t have to tell my friends, “I need 30 min to get ready” instead of, “I’m can leave my house in 5 minutes”, with most of those 5 minutes being used on other things beside make up time!
Okay, I agree it’s a bit costly, and I also agree that it does not last as long as other make ups, but I consider it a reasonable exchange for all the positives it offers. Have a sponge handy to take care of the spray that gets onto your hair line and eye lashes/brows - a quick rub pretty much takes care of that. Use sparingly, and just sponge your face to conserve some - I’ve made the mistake of over-using it unneccessarily, and now my spray lasts twice as long as my first can.
One last thing - I personally think that it’s more hygenic and improved my skin condition over-all. The make up never comes in contact with my fingers or sponge that can cross contaminate the make up, because there is no opening where the bacteria can get in like other traditional make ups containers.
Watch out for some online sites that sends you 1.7 oz can instead of the 2.3 oz you should be getting for $60. I think some people got the smaller can and that’s why it only lasted for such few usage. I initially got the 1.7 oz sent to me, and I didn’t know it was smaller than what it was supposed to be BECAUSE I got it over the internet and you can’t tell how big the can is looking at the pictures. Once I visited Sephora and saw how much bigger the can was supposed to be, I was more careful to check the correct content weight before purchasing it. Buy only if it’s 2.3 oz, and expect a smaller 1.7 oz if they are posting it for cheaper price (around $48-$55), one such site being Strawberry.com
READ!! Everything you need to know about Dior AirFlash Spray Foundation!
Oh my gosh, this is a great product. There are a few cons, but after buying it once I would definately buy it again. Here are a few things I feel somebody considering buying this should know-
PROS:
-I have uneven skin tone. Some of my pores are huge, which makes my face look red, I have some acne now and then, and this is the only product that I have found that really covers it up. Obviously if you have severe acne it wont cover everything up because nothing can cover it completely. I would at least try it if you’re sick of your face looking like you tried to cover your acne.
-You don’t have to apply powder foundation after this!** Because this is almost like airbrushing, the foundation is SO light. I have tried many drug store brands of spray foundation and they are all “wet”. This does go on dry, it’s almost as if you’re applying spray powder. You do not need to reapply all day and it does not (at least for me) run off your face, and I have combination skin. I actually have to remove it with a wash cloth.
-It blends in with your neck. There is no visible “line” where the make-up ends and your real skin color begins. If you get your right color it just blends in with your skintone. You can spray down your neck-wherever you need it and you can’t tell you have make up on, it’s not “cakey”.
-For me one of the worst things about wearing make up is the fear of it coming off on somebody’s shoulder when you hug them! I mean, you could fix that by not wearing make up, but you wouldn’t be unless you looked flawless already! This does not come off of people’s shirts, no matter how many coats you apply.
-You can apply many coats! Depending on how much coverage you need and where, you can spray more, say, on your T-zone. Spray your face once and let it settle, then spray a little on a sponge or brush (or your fingertips as they say in the instructions) and apply the AirFlash to where you need more of it. Obviously if you’d apply 4+ coats it’s going to start looking like you’ve got make up on, but 1-2 coats looks perfect.
-It lasts long! It would last all work day for me, then when I came home if I was going out afterwards I’d obviously touch up a little bit, but for the most part it does seem to last longer than 3 hours as one reviewer mentioned.
CONS:
-Yes you are paying more for the name, but there is nothing out there like this. You could splurge and get an airbrush machine, but you still have to buy refills for that.
-There is enough in the can for about three-four weeks…five or more I think for most people is not true. That is not a lot for the price, but you have to consider the quality, brand, etc. If you’re sooo concerned about the cost you should go buy a $10 spray foundation and see what you get. This really is worth it. You have to get new foundation every month or so anyway if you go out everyday so it really is no different.
-You probably waste a lot when you spray it onto your face because you do it back and forth horizontally. There is another option which is to spray a little onto a plate and dab a sponge or brush into it and apply it that way. You’d have to replace the sponge about every time you buy a new can of this.
SUMMARY:
I tried to read and cover everything the others said in their reviews if it was relevant. I didn’t try to copy, I just took out most of the stories. It does work-the review that says it’s hard to apply is false, you just have to learn how. If you spray it directly onto your face, you should do it w/o any clothes on (or else cover your shoulders with a towel) and try to tie your hair back or put a cloth headband on it (or turbie twist). It really does feel like you aren’t wearing any make up-which guys love!
If you’re considering buying it for $60, you obviously need it and this is worth the money. At least try it once. You wont regret it and the only thing that will keep you from buying it again is the price. I would always keep it on hand for emergencies (when you want to look flawless, a first date or special date, when you’re running late, girls night out, to make someone kick themselves for dumping you, at concerts so you don’t sweat your make up off if you get to meet the band afterwards).
**To get SPF coverage with this foundation which I feel is more important than just a foundation that just makes you look good, I recommend SMASHBOX HALO hydrating powder (Find it on eBay or QVC.com). It is Dior AirFlash in powder form. If you don’t apply lotion or cream with SPF before your AirFlash, please find a powder with one in it!

Depends on coloring….
Really liked the lip gloss, but the eye colors were a bit too dark. I’m not very dexterous when it comes to putting on any kind of eyeliner, but the powder kind was just far too much trouble. I think these probably look great on others more accustomed to putting the look together.

New Tarte devotee
A quick digression: I purchased rival product Benetint after reading wonderful reviews about it for YEARS. And I was dismayed when it just didn’t cut it for me, although its overall delivery made me realize that cheek stains are the only way to go. I was drawn to Tarte because, unlike Benetint, it came in a myriad of colors. I have also read its rave reviews over the years — but like Benetint, the hefty price tag left me sputtering. I am a drugstore cosmetics kinda gal! But have never been able to find the right blush.
So it is with delight that I can say that Tarte ROCKS. The consistency is gel-like (even better than Benetint, which is like water going on). It comes in a “stick” of sorts, which I anticipate will last a LONG time. This consistency is also great for my combination skin — my skin looks dewy but not oily. The smell of Tarte’s stain is WONDERFUL. Benetint smells like rose water (which is nice), but this is a more grown-up scent that does not linger — I only smell it for a moment and then it’s gone.
If you’re deciding between Benetint and Tarte’s stain, I definitely recommend Tarte — the color selection is wonderful (alas, Benetint’s single color made my uber fair skin look feverish not flushed), and its feel and appearance are superior. I’ll definitely be buying this cheek stain again.
Use it everyday!
I have been using this product almost everyday for probably close to four years now. Initially, I do remember it being a little difficult to get used to, but it is now the product I won’t leave home without putting on. It lasts all day, through work, through going to the gym - everything. It’s nice to have a product you don’t have to continually apply all day long. I have seen some of the other reviewers mention it’s a little sticky at first and I’ll agree but it dries quickly, and fades just a little so it takes a few tries to learn how much is right for your skin tone. As for the price, it is more than the average blush, but this little tube will last forever, I only recently purchased my second one (Flush color) after using my last tube all the way to the bottom. This is one product I will continue to use!

I have a very fair complexion .. which is a nice way of saying that I’m PALE. If I don’t wear blush I look sick, and this stuff makes me look healthy and natural. No one can even tell I’m wearing makeup. I’m never going back to powder

The easiest way to glowing skin…
Okay, so 80 bucks seems like a lot of money to plunk down for an at-home microdermabrasion kit…especially when everyone from Homedics to L ‘Oreal is marketing a more cost-friendly version of what appears to be the same EXACT thing. However, experience (and lots of money not-so-well spent) has taught me that, in most cases, you generally get what you pay for. Case in point: a few months ago I finally made the decision to trade in my 99 cent ultra-black mascara for a high-end name brand version of the same product…I immediately discovered that mascara-induced racoon eyes really can be avoided! Who knew? After that, I vowed never to pinch pennies when it comes to beauty. Now there are, of course, some exceptions; my mother swears by Oil of Olay -as do I- but when you’re talking about microderabrasion, a proceedure that can cost as much as $150 per session, it’s hard to believe that you can achieve the same exact results with something that is a mere fraction of the cost.
Skeptical but desperate for youthful looking skin, I opted to splurge on the DermaNew Facial Rejuvenation System. Prior to my purchase, I did a fair amount of research so I knew that what I was getting the crème de la crème of the more than twenty-plus versions that I had to choose from.
Just two weeks after using it, I began to notice that my once sallow complexion (thanks to stress, lack of sleep and yo-yo dieting) had been replaced with a healthy glow. Now my skin looks soft and peachy, kind of like it did when I was twelve…you know, when youth and beauty was effortless…sigh!
All in all this product is best for someone with little to no skin flaws. Those who are expecting miracle results or results similar to what you would get from a full-service salon treatment may be dissapointed. My advice, shell out the necessary funds in order to get your skin under control, then use this product for the upkeep. This is great for removing the dead skin that regular washing tends to leave behind.
Lovely soft skin can be yours!
At first I was hesitant to ante up the $ to purchase the dermanew system, but after a few friends raved about it, I decided to buy it.
The system includes a battery operated applicator tool (batteries are included), sponge tops for the tool, and dermabrasion cream.
You pop a sponge on top of the applicator, put cream on it and apply to your dampened skin. I set a timer for 3 minutes and work the applicator around the surface of my skin.
The results are great! Dead skin is sloughed off, circulation is stimulated and the results are glowing soft skin.
My skin looks lovely and feels smooth to the touch. It felt soft and wonderful after the very first application!
Dermanew sells other applicator sponges and creams separately to use with the applicator tool on your hands and feet.
Though the initial price tag seems high, this tool will last for years and help you to glowing skin! I highly recommend it.

I have the regular kabuki brush and I got the Handy Buki for my daughter. I steal it every chance I get. It is the best brush I have ever used with the bare minerals line. Buyer Beware
I ordered this fragance and when a received it, looks bad¡¡¡ the box are in bad condition and on the bottom of the bottle has a mark in the cristal ummmm looks to me its fake¡¡¡¡¡BEWARE
Good product but a little shady
I purchased this cologne on 11/1/2008 and though it does smell like Kenneth Cole Black and is more than likely genuine, the serial number was carved out of the bottom of the bottle. Other than that, the product is okay.
Decent product. Worth the $$$
I am particular about the colognes I wear. Black smells nice but wears off somewhat quickly and can leave an alcohol after-smell. However, overall I like it and will continue to wear it until I run out. I won’t buy a second bottle though.

Very creamy and smells good
I have tried a few of Carol’s Daughter products. I like this hair butter. It is not very greasy and it really conditions my hair. I have natural hair with coloured ends and I usually put some of this butter on my scalp and then braid it over night. In the morning my hair looks lovely and soft and very manageable.
I think Carol’s Daugther products work well with my hair. I would recommend this one for persons who have natural hair.
Softens New Growth
I like this cream. It really softens the new growth for African American hair between touch ups. I bought one for my daughter too.
NOT EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED
I have heard so much about Carol’s Daughter’s products and I had been wanting to try something from the line. I am African American and I do hair professionally. I have very long thick hair that constantly needs moisture. I want to address the smell : It is very VERY bold. It is not so much unpleasant as it is loud. If I were sensitive to smells I’d definitely have a problem with this product. I would apply it on a weekend so that it would calm down before returning to work. It doesn’t really do a whole lot for my hair unless my hair is wet and the instructions is for it to be applied to the scalp—but I don’t like clogging my scalp with ointments. It works really well on my daughter’s hair and her hair is finer and a smoother texture than mine. I don’t really see the benefit for people with TRULY “nappy” hair to use this. I will probably continue to buy for my children and for me to use after a shampoo.
